. . . take a walk with an umbrella, soak your feet in water, dry near a fire place, play a round of Jenga with your friends, play the piano on the iPad, go to a place somewhere in the woods where it’s likely that electricity will go out, the hot water will run out, the roads will be blocked because of flood . . . but it will be one of the best weekends of your life.
It feels so good to be at home, but I would relive my rainy weekend experience in a heart beat. Every year in March a group of us from my church take a trip to the coast for a retreat in the woods. This weekend tends to be the highlight of my year, and this time around it was twice as adventurous. More to come soon!
