Happy New Year

I know that after this post I will totally hear a gasp from my readers, “What? She didn’t wish us Merry Christmas and only Happy New Year? Is she Jewish?” Well part of me is Jewish, that’s correct, but if you noticed I didn’t blog a Hanukkah post either, although I did plan to take pictures of my menorah (accent on the last syllable, please). I’m enjoying one of my favorite Christmases ever, and that means I hardly have the time to sit behind my wonderful screen and write about my experiences. The delicious aroma of gingerbread cookies in the kitchen, the flames dancing in our fireplace, and the oh-so-many-wonderful-things to do during holiday season, all keep me delighted and quiet occupied.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!
And because posts are always better with a photo, here is a sneak peek of one of my favorite Christmas presents.
We sure love music in this household.
